Jonas Roulet grew up in the snowy mountains of the French-speaking part of Switzerland, where he listened to his mother practising the classical piano and to his father jamming on his saxophone to jazz tunes playing on the radio. Alternating between these worlds of classical and jazz music, he learned to find his style, experiencing with multiple instruments until he started a metal band as a guitarist. At the same time, he started to record his own sounds and implement computers into his pieces. This gave him the opportunity to experiment with sounds and virtual instruments of all sorts. He's been making music ever since. Today, Jonas is studying composition for film, theatre and media in Zürich under the guidance of Olav Lervik and Kaspar Ewald.
